On September 6th, I traveled to D.C. for work.  Sharon was able to come out for the weekend.  We spent Friday and Saturday in the D.C. area, and tried to see as much as we could!  Stops included:

The White House, Lincoln and Washington Memorials, the Smithsonian, and Arlington Cemetery, where we visited the grave of my grandfather and grandmother.  After an unforgettable dinner with our friends Marty, Nannette and their adorable children Madeline and Camille, we moved on up to Baltimore late Saturday evening.  We spent a much needed day relaxing & perusing the Inner Harbor and the awesome Baltimore Aquarium, where I was singled out of an audience of about 600 to be the 'Veterinarian of the Day', and enjoyed a close up visit with some of their famous Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins.
